I know in 8th grade you could just breeze through as long as you payed an inkling of attention in class, but if you're expecting GOPO to be like that, you're very, VERY mistaken. Below are a few tips to help you NOT suck:
- Rule #1: Do your homework. You may think that putting off your work until last second is acceptable, but in GOPO, that's a huge no-no. Homework in this class isn't just to keep you busy on the weekends, it's your main method of learning outside of the class. If you decide not to do your homework, kiss College Credit and that 4.0 GPA goodbye.
- Rule #2: Pay attention (seriously) When in class, Mr.Brock will go over, often times in more detail, about what you read last night. If you decide to sleep or goof off, you could potentially miss huge snippets of information.
- Rule #3: Genuinely try. No matter how bad you may start out, if you actually put some effort into the class, you WILL succeed. If you study, do your homework, and try your best, you WILL pass your tests!
- Rule #$: Possibly the best advice I can give you is this: TRUST YOURSELF! No matter how bad you feel about a test, if you actually believe you can pass the test, chances are, you will. No matter what, your gut feeling is probably the best thing you can listen to.
